the grand adventures of hannah and france: Today is Friday, the 26th of March.

I have been without internet for 2 days, and it was horrendous. Without the internet, I can’t contact anyone (especially when I temporarily lose my phone charger.)

Anyways, spring has sprung- there are birds singing and tons of flowers and the trees are getting leaves. It’s really gorgeous…

You, dear daughter, are a crazy girl.  What is it with Tobins doing all of their work at the last minute?  It’s like, genetic, or something.

Concerning living in the country.

After living in a big city for my whole life, moving to the countryside is quite a strange change.

Though I do live in a town (18,000 people live here), it is completely different. I walked home from the movies tonight, in the dead center of town, and it was completely silent. No cars, no people, nothing.

In the place I consider home, if you stepped outside, even in the middle of ‘suburbia’, there would be a ruckus of cars, sirens, train whistles from miles away, airplanes, and a cacophony of other noises. It’s comforting, hearing sound. It means that there are people carrying on with their busy lives all around you.

Here, it’s quiet. Some people like that, but I guess I’m just too much of a city girl.

Yep.  She’s my daughter.  Heh.  I know you are jealous.

In the quest to decide what I want to do when I grow up.

I have been putting the field of Fashion under very careful consideration.

I love fashion. Seriously. There are few things I love more. It would pretty much be my dream job to be involved in any way in the Fashion Industry.

BUT, the problem is, the road to the Fashion Biz is paved with obnoxious women and gay men (for the most part). Who are also good at what they want to do. Which means.

1) There is RIDICULOUS amounts of competition
2) They chances you will suceed are very slim
3) I would really rather work in a profession where I’m not surrounded by drama queens

So I’m not sure.

I think my daughter is seriously cool.  And smart.

Pant Shenanigans

There is nothing like causing a fray among one’s daughter, who lives in France and is addressed as French Girl, and her friends, all on Tumblr.  It is a good thing that Tumblr invented the “Ask” function.  Creates good entertainment.
